Knockout rounds came and D.C., Philly, RSL, and SKC all just made cameo’s in the 2016 playoffs. L.A. was able to grind out a 1-0 victory at home. MTL with another 1-0 win up at Stade Saputo. TFC scored 2 goals at a rocking BMO Field, and SEA took it to FCD with a 3-0 victory in the great northwest.

The Penultimate week of the 2016 regular season has come and gone and the playoff races are getting interesting. The East is all but locked down, still 1 spot up for grabs and the order to fight for. Now the West is a different story with 4 teams fighting for 3 spots.
A full slate of MLS action this week sees the return of the Prodigal Son back to LA and he comes off the bench to make a cameo. New England finally shows that they do indeed have talent and if they can keep up this form will prove to be a tough out in the playoffs. Veron and Royer start for RBNY and look dangerous both ways.

This week in MLS there were the haves and the have nots, with goals and blowouts abound. We talk about the Hudson Derby, the connection of Piatti and Drogba, along with the fallout in Seattle after it appeared the team simply gave up.
