Cuba welcomes the USMNT for the first time since 2008 and from the looks of it, they haven’t touched the field since then. Julian Green makes the most of his 2 games with a goal in each game. Lynden Gooch makes his senior team debut against New Zealand. We also try to predict the roster for the Hex vs Mexico on November 11th.

2016 Week 26: Sacha makes most of USMNT callup

2 World Cup Qualifiers in the books with a combined score of 10-0. The USMNT advance to the Hex and stories abound. The return to form of Jozy Altidore, the return period, of Sacha Kljestan, and finally, the rise of Cristian Pulisic. The Red Bulls also pulled off only their second road win of the season and they can thank Erik Hurtado for that.

2016 Week 25: USMNT WCQ Roster, More Cascadia and BWP scoring goals

The rosters for the upcoming World Cup Qualifiers were announced and with injuries to Zardes, Dempsey, and the pull out of Brooks there was room for some surprises and one of the bigger ones was the return of the Great Mustachio, Sacha Kljestan. The Red Bulls and Revolution played a match that was pedestrian, but out in Portland and down in D.C. goals were plentiful.

The Copa America has come to and end and apparently so has Andrews ability to control his laughter. We decided to leave the laughing fit in for you to enjoy in all it’s glory. We get back to talking MLS but with the Copa coverage we went full homer and reviewed and previewed only NYRB games.
